Margaret Awatt-Osagiede is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Prestigious Nursing. With over 15 years of progressive experience in healthcare staffing, workforce development, and community-centered health services, Margaret has dedicated her career to strengthening healthcare systems and improving patient outcomes through quality nursing support.

Margaret’s academic journey reflects her multidisciplinary perspective and global outlook. She began her studies at the University of Calabar in Nigeria, where she studied Geology, developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. She later continued her education in the United States, attending Lubbock Christian University and Texas Tech University, where she expanded her academic foundation and advanced her healthcare knowledge. Her diverse educational background, combined with her clinical nursing expertise, allows her to approach healthcare staffing and service delivery with both analytical precision and compassionate leadership.

Margaret’s vision for Prestigious Nursing was shaped through her direct experience working as a staffing agency nurse across a wide range of healthcare environments. During this time, she observed critical gaps in nurse staffing, workforce preparation, and clinical support services. Motivated to create meaningful solutions, she founded Prestigious Nursing in 2014 with the mission of delivering highly trained, dependable nursing professionals to healthcare facilities in need.

Under Margaret’s leadership, Prestigious Agency, LLC has earned a strong reputation for excellence in recruiting, training, and placing highly qualified nursing professionals across diverse healthcare settings, including hospitals, correctional institutions, state hospitals, and specialty care facilities. Her work has helped organizations achieve safer staffing ratios, improve workforce stability, and maintain high standards of patient care.

Margaret has also expanded the organization’s reach into global health initiatives. Through these efforts, Prestigious Nursing supports programs focused on maternal health, HIV care, infectious disease management, and other complex healthcare challenges affecting underserved populations.

Margaret’s leadership philosophy is rooted in collaboration, partnership-building, and stakeholder engagement. She works closely with healthcare leaders, policymakers, and community organizations to develop sustainable solutions that strengthen healthcare delivery systems and promote healthier communities.

Through her vision and dedication, Margaret continues to position Prestigious Nursing as a trusted partner in healthcare workforce solutions both locally and globally.
